Building, Surviving and Crafting as The Last Farmer!

Hey guys!

I'm here to quickly talk about The Last Farmer, an open world building crafting survival game with zombies, and, yes, I got the game for free in Keymailer. I had seen the game before and I was approved for it but, for some reason, I never claimed it. I guess, I simply forgot about it.

Well, I finally claimed it in Keymailer and claimed the game in Steam. Downloaded, installed and played the game. Right off the bat, I encountered a problem. I set the game to windowed mode and also set the resolution but, the game suddenly switched to full screen windowed mode by itself. I had to set the resolution again to get it back to windowed mode.

The Last Farmer had no tutorial. In the game, there was a map and a question mark was on it. That was it. My gamer brain just assumed, I needed to go there. Guess what? I did. I also did a bit of exploring. I checked out the so called lake to see if I could get water from it. Nope! I couldn't. I just assumed, a container was needed.

On the way to the question mark, I punched a few trees and got sticks and wood planks. Zombies? There weren't any, just yet. The question mark lead me to a broken down garage. Inside was a car. It was missing a few parts. I did find the steering wheel next to it and installed it. That's one car part installed. Fortunately, one of the missing wheels was right there as well. Later, I found a battery. It also went into the car.

Building, Surviving and Crafting as The Last Farmer!

The game did have some kind of guide on what to do next on the right side of the screen. It told me to craft tools like stone axe, pickaxe, shovel and others. It wasn't fancy but it did the job. The first thing I crafted was a spear because I needed something to protect myself. Remember, it's a game with zombies. Having a weapon was better than no weapon. Right?

Next, I crafted the other tools. The stone axe, pickaxe, shovel and wooden club. I spent the rest of the hour gathering or collecting resources, exploring and fighting off zombies. Oh, I did craft a couple of planters and planted potato seeds. Having food to eat was important. Running out of food and water would mean death. We don't want that.

Although, The Last Farmer was an open world crafting building survival game. A genre I like. It didn't really blew me away. I guess, it was safe to say, it was just an okay game. Will I continue playing it? I'm not sure. I'm still deciding whether to uninstall it or not. For those interested. You will find The Last Farmer in Steam.

Anyway, if you enjoyed reading this post about The Last Farmer then, maybe, you might also enjoy watching me play the game. Check out my Youtube, Rumble, Twitch, Kick and Trovo channels. Subscribe or follow if you can. Thank you.
