First Time in FiveM District 99... And It Went Totally Wrong 😂
Hey guys,
So I finally decided to jump into GTA Online using FiveM, and let’s just say... my first experience did NOT go as planned. 😂
After spending some time searching for a server, I landed on one called District 99. It seemed like a good place to start, and I was actually pretty excited to try out some roleplay. Of course, like any new player, I wanted my character to look at least decent—so I spent quite a while just figuring out the character customization.
Once I finally got in-game, I started walking around, trying to get a feel for the world. But just a few minutes in, something unexpected happened. Another player approached me and told me to change my name. Yep… apparently “New Player” wasn’t acceptable. 😅
I didn’t want any trouble, so I tried to fix the situation. My first thought was to delete my character and just start fresh with a better name. Sounds simple, right? Well… not really. I quickly realized I had no idea how to delete a character in the server.
So then I thought, “Okay, I’ll just make a new one.” But guess what? It required money. And at that point, I was like… yeah, no thanks. 😂
Instead of stressing over it, I decided to just exit the server altogether. Honestly, it was a bit frustrating, but also kind of funny looking back at it now. I guess that’s just part of being new to FiveM and learning how different servers work.
Next time, I’ll probably try a different server and hopefully have a smoother start. Maybe even come in with a better name from the beginning!
