Monster League Racing, Play-To-Earn, Buying Container NFT A Privilege
Monster League Racing, as implied by the name, is a racing game with monsters as drivers. It's also a play-to-earn game which means it will have buzzwords like NFT, crypto, token and blockchain.
Why am I talking about Monster League Racing? Well, I was offered a key for the game in Keymailer and I got curious. I wanted to know what I would get if I accepted the key and, guess what, I would get whitelisted to buy a Container NFT worth $200 USD.
From how I understand it, I will not get a Container NFT worth $200 USD. What I will get is the privilege of giving them $200 USD in exchange for a Container NFT.
Why would I want to give them $200 USD and where would I get $200 USD when I don't even have $1 USD on me right now?
As much as I want play-to-earn games to succeed, Monster League Racing is clearly not the play-to-earn game for me specially if the game wants me to spend $200 USD, which is money I don't have, to play it.
Of course, if Monster League Racing wants to give me $200 USD worth of NFT for free then I will gladly accept it but, obviously, that will never happen.
