LOTR: Rise To War Gameplay [03/02/2022] - Tutorial & 3 To 4 Chapters

In this Lord of the Rings: Rise To War gameplay, I went through the tutorial and the first 3 or 4 chapters of the game. It's your typical Pay To Win mobile strategy game featuring the Lord of the Rings franchise.

A BRONZE RING

When the game started, I was asked to select a ring. I misunderstood what it was for and decided to select a bronze ring. When I realized it was going to be my ring, I regretted choosing a bronze ring. If I had known then I would have chosen a gold ring instead of a bronze ring.

Sadly, there was no way of going back. Changing my bronze ring into a gold ring was no longer possible. I could re-start the game with a new account but doing that just to get the ring I wanted was kinda too much of a hassle. So, I'm sticking with the bronze ring.

(Note: The italicized part was generated / created by an AI or Artificial Intelligence. It writes better than me. LOL!)

The Ring Power Ups

Sometimes the ring you pick has different powers than what the game or the enemies give you. There are some special rings that give you extra health and damage. There are also rings that grant extra attack power. These ring powers can be handy to use when facing tougher opponents.

I think that this game doesn't offer that many ring powers at the moment, but there are several of them. It's hard to do anything without them. I guess, this was not intentional.

The Issues

The biggest issue of Lord of the Rings: Rise To War The Bronze Ring is the AI. Enemies are pretty dumb at times. You can easily get killed by simple foes. Sometimes you're required to fight these enemies several times in a row. And it's not that hard to get lost because the game doesn't mark your path and enemies don't follow a set path like in most platform games. This leads to several deaths.

That's also a very big issue in the game. In most of the environments, you can see a few enemies but can only go in a limited area. So it's hard to avoid most enemies and get lost in a huge maze. It's pretty boring as a player. I have to fight through several enemies to find an easier path.

So this is the major issue. AI is very annoying in this game. Enemies wander around aimlessly when they can't find a way to defeat you. In a way, this makes you feel like a cheap pirate. I'm not a big fan of open world games anyway. So this makes Lord of the Rings: Rise To War The Bronze Ring quite annoying.

The Fast-Paced Gameplay

The game is fast-paced and requires you to move around in the environment quickly and efficiently. This is probably why I had so many problems getting lost in the game.

The game feels much like the Mortal Kombat game series with cool combos and different powers. You have to use every ring power up to get through the level. In some places you might be required to use multiple rings power up for an easier time.

So basically, you just use the rings powers to get through the levels in Lord of the Rings: Rise To War The Bronze Ring. You can use up to three of these ring powers.

There is no leveling system. You can't level up the rings powers. This is a major issue for me. In most of the action games, you can increase your power stats with time. But in this game, you can only level up your ring powers.

This leads to the biggest issue of all. The game gives you too many rings powers. The game offers more than 40 ring powers. This is a little bit too much. You have too much power powers to choose from.

So basically, you need to use all the rings powers to get through the game. And this causes too much confusion while using the rings powers. Sometimes you forget which rings power is needed for which enemies. This leads to death after death.
