Underworld Ascendant ★ March Pre-Alpha Prototype Video Released

Hey guys! What's up? My name is Kabalyero and it seems that the developer of Underworld Ascendant just released a video their March Pre-Alpha Prototype of the game.

The March Pre-Alpha Prototype of Underworld Ascendant is a 2 minute video showing actual gameplay combat from the game and, unfortunately, I was not impressed at all.

Don't get me wrong guys, I know it's only a Prototype which means it's not the actual or finish game but I'm just basing my reaction or thoughts on what I saw.

As a casual gamer, I'm not really into graphics and that's why the overly plastic looking style of the game didn't really bothered me all.

What really bothered me was the actual combat. It was very jerky and the animation was not smooth at all. Also, the Skeletons doing a Battle Pose before attacking was just too cheesy for me.

I like to think of Underworld Ascendant as a very serious game and Skeletons doing Battle Poses kinda took me out of the game.

 

Anyway, I'm sure many of you guys liked this March Pre-Alpha Prototype of Underworld Ascendant and you should because the guys working on this game are working really, really hard to give you that Ultima Underworld experience that we enjoyed many, many years ago.
