Fantasy Tales Online ★ Trojan Virus Detected
Hey guys, I just want to give a quick shoutout to Hail Kira which is a channel here in YouTube. The channel has videos of various games like South Park Stick Of Truth, Stardew Valley and others. So guys, go and check out Hail Kira in YouTube.
My anti-virus program detected a Trojan in Fantasy Tales Online.
Today, I tried to update or patch my copy of Fantasy Tales Online but my anti-virus program won't let Fantasy Tales Online patch itself because it detected a Trojan Virus.
So I deleted my copy of Fantasy Tales Online and went to the official website of the game to download a fresh copy but my anti-virus program won't let me download the game of the Trojan Virus.
As you can see from the screenshot, the Trojan Virus that was detected by my anti-virus program is called Trojan:Win32/Repjexi and it was found on the patch file named fto_series of numbers.patch.
I'm not sure if this detection is legit or not but, to be safe, I'm not going to install nor update Fantasy Tales Online until I'm 100% sure that the game is safe to download, install and play.
So, do you guys think that it's a legit threat or is this just some kind of false positive? Share your answers as well as your comments, questions or reactions in the comments section below.
