Eliminate Game Lag With WTFast!

Blacklight: Retribution Glitch Or Bug, Invincibility

It's not secret that I love playing Blacklight: Retribution and I think it's one of the best multiplayer online first-person shooter game today. I don't play it that often but I still play it from time to time and I'm never good at it. Most of the times, I have more death than kills but that's not important to me because I play to have fun.

Like most games, Blacklight: Retribution also has its fair share of bugs and glitches and I'm going to show you one of them in this post. I call this bug or glitch the invincibility bug because it kinda makes enemy players invincible or unkillable.

I have no idea how it happens but I think it's an afterimage of a player who just crashed. Sometimes, because of lag, players that crashed are still rendered by the server in the game as if they were still there playing. Other players can still shoot them but, unfortunately, they won't die. (See the YouTube video below.)

Anyway, I was lucky enough to find and take a video of one. I emptied an entire clip on it but it didn't die eventhough it took all the bullets. In the end, I was the one who was killed because someone snuck behind me and slashed me to death. Argh.

  1. This is not a bug.

There is a piece of equipment that spawns a decoy that will run straight, drawing the attention of the enemy for their snipers or grenades (Or machete as i'm sure you found out). At first I thought it was somebody lagging out, as you said, but well and truly, it is meant to make you think an enemy is being stupid.
