Celestial Butterfly Had An Update! Updating My Companions!

Hey guys!

Did you know, Celestial Butterfly had an update? Yeah! When I logged, I received a new version of the Celestial Butterfly HUD and Celestial Butterfly Net. The HUD is now at version 3.2. I'm not sure about the Free Butterfly Net but, my Lunar Wing Catcher is now at version 2.1. By the way, updating was automatic. If your HUD and Net didn't update then try detaching and attaching them again.

As for what were updated? I have no idea but if you are interested in that then I think you'll find information about it from their website. You can also ask in Group Chat. You might get an answer there. If not then the website is your best option.

For the Celestial Butterfly companions, updating them wasn't as simple as detaching and reattaching your companions. It had a few more steps. The first thing you need to do is go back to Celestial Butterfly HQ. Look around the landing area. You'll find a door and this door will teleport you to the Companion Updater Chamber. Use the door.

If you have companions that need updating then the door will teleport you. If not then nothing will happen.

In the Companion Updater Chamber, you'll find several update terminals that you can use to update your companion. Find an available update terminal and use it. A dialog window will appear. Choose Update. Information about the update will appear in Local Chat. Copy and save it somewhere. You can also just save the Update Token, if you don't want to save the entire thing.

If you have more than one companions then you'll have to repeat the process. Take note of the companion's name. 

The last step is to use the Update Token to update your companions. For this step, you will need to find a place where you can rez objects like a sandbox or your home. Rez your companion on the ground and touch it. A window will appear. It will ask you for your companion's Update Token that you saved earlier. Copy and paste the Update Token. Click submit and wait for update to finish. When it's finished, take your companion.

That's it. Your companion is updated and ready to join you hunt for more butterflies and Linden Dollars. Don't worry about getting confused. There are information boards about the update process all over updater chamber. If you're still confused, ask in group chat and I'm sure someone will give you a hand.
