Project Gorgon Obelisk Quest Complete - Escaping Newbie Island Adventure!

Hey guys,

I spent another hour diving into Project Gorgon, and this session was all about finally finishing what I started, the Obelisk Quest on newbie island!

Last time, I began the journey of tracking down the four obelisks scattered around the island. This time, I managed to find all of them and collect the coordinate digits needed to complete the quest. It actually felt pretty satisfying putting everything together and heading back to the quest giver.

After turning it in, something interesting happened, my character got bound to a new location, and I was able to use a teleport platform to finally leave newbie island! That alone felt like a huge milestone.

When I arrived at the new area (which, honestly, I forgot the name of 😅), there was an NPC waiting for me. I talked to them and accepted a quest... but yeah, I kind of forgot the details already. Classic.

Things took a turn when I fought this weird brain-like creature. Let’s just say... it didn’t go well. My character died, and I respawned in a nearby town.

But it wasn’t all bad! While in town, I explored a bit and talked to some local merchants. That’s where I learned First-Aid and Armor Repair, which should definitely help in future adventures. I also cleared out my inventory by selling gear I didn’t need.

Looking ahead, I think my next focus will be leveling up my sword skills. They felt way too low during combat, and it definitely showed in that last fight!
