ArcheWorld: The New Blockchain MMORPG Set to Revolutionize Online Gaming
ArcheWorld, a blockchain-based massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) developed by XLGames, a South Korean game developer, is now open for pre-registration for its North American servers. The game, which is set to launch on April 20, 2023, is based on the popular ArcheAge intellectual property and is separate from the upcoming sequel, ArcheAge 2.
Although most blockchain games are developed by smaller independent game studios, ArcheWorld offers a functional product. However, players should exercise caution, as these games can be a significant drain on funds. The game should be free to play, and anyone interested in seeing what a blockchain MMORPG can do should give it a try.
To register for the North American servers and mint Land NFTs, players can visit the official ArcheWorld website from March 23 to April 19. The Asian servers have been live for six months, with 98% of the available Land NFTs being used by players for housing activities.
ArcheWorld is designed to be user-friendly for those new to blockchain gaming, featuring a "Face Wallet" developed by Haechi Labs, a blockchain technology company. The Face Wallet allows users to create a wallet using their social media logins, making the process seamless and user-friendly. It also enables in-game transactions with a 6-digit PIN code and includes a password recovery function via SMS OTP.
The game's philosophy, according to XLGames CEO Jake Song, is to acknowledge users' enjoyment of the game as an asset. ArcheWorld aims to break negative stereotypes that people have about blockchain games.
To participate in the pre-registration event, players can visit the official ArcheWorld website and sign up with the Face Wallet. Users can invite friends and have the opportunity to receive Fandom Cards NFTs and Land NFTs. ArcheWorld is a game that players of all ages and skill levels can enjoy, and it has the potential to be a hit in the gaming community.
