AEW DYNAMITE Episode 5 (10.30.2019) Quick Review • All Elite Wrestling News
AEW Dynamite for the fifth straight week has given us another amazing two hours of Pro-Wrestling on television. There were so much that happened I won't even try recalling all of it from memory.
Hey guys, check out my shirt designs at https://teespring.com/stores/kabalyero and I hope you find something you like. Thank you. This episode of AEW Dynamite did not start with a match. It started with a segment that featured Cody Rhodes riding a limousine and followed by an angry Jon Moxley venting his frustrations on Tony Kahn. Both segments were great. They got me pumped up and ready for anything.
All the matches in the show were great to awesome, Even the Squash Match between the Bestfriends and Orange Cassidy against Q.T. Marshall, Alex Reynolds and John Silver was great because it was a lot of fun specially when the Bestfriends came out as Rick & Morty.
The Hikaru Shida and Shanna match was one of the better women's matches AEW had since they started and Hikaru Shida looks great as well. Also, she kinda likes using her knee a lot. There were a lot of flying knees in this match.
The contract signing between Chris Jericho and Cody for the AEW World Championship was a breath of fresh air because it did not end with the table getting smashed into pieces but it did end with Dustin Rhodes getting a broken arm.
I was never a big fan of the Rock n Roll Express growing up but seeing them with the AEW Tag Team Championship Belts was amazing. Sadly, they were beaten up by Santa and Ortiz and one of the old guys even took a bump on stage.
Everyone seems to hate The Librarians but I kinda like both of them. I find Peter Avalon annoying in a good way and he came out insulting the audience but that ended quickly because of an angry Jon Moxley who delivered a great promo in the ring.
As I've said in the beginning, all the matches in the show were great and that includes the Six Man Tag match of Kenny Omega and the Young Bucks against the Hybrid2 and Kip Sabian. Kenny Omega came out as an Undertale character while the Young Bucks came out as Kenny and Ryu from Street Fighter.
What else can I say about the Main Event except that it was great and, obviously, that was expected from SCU and the Lucha Brothers. If the match was bad specially for a championship match then that would have been surprising. The only thing I did not expect was to see SCU winning the first AEW Tag Team Championship over the Lucha Brothers. I was expecting to see the Lucha Brothers win the title but that did not happen.
Overall, it was another great show. AEW has successfully put out amazing shows week after week after week and if I'm going to give this episode a rating then I will give it a rating of 9 out of 10 because it was an almost perfect pro-wrestling show.
So guys, what are your thoughts on this weeks episode of AEW Dynamite? Was it great or was it greater? Post your answers as well as your comments, questions or reactions in the comments section below.
P.S. Yes, I did forget the Adam Page and Sammy Guevara match but, not because it was bad, because there were so many thing happened in this episode and I basically just tried to recall everything from memory.
