The CYCLE Game Alpha! Lagging and Stuttering Sounds! Still, Had FUN Playing!
A few days ago, I played this game called The Cycle for the first time and I had fun playing it. The game was lagging for me but it was playable and it also had this weird and annoying Sound Lag that made the sound stuttered while playing.
The CYCLE is like a Battle Royale game but it's not about who survives at the end. It's more about who can complete the most contracts. It doesn't matter whether you survived or not, if you completed the most contracts then you win.
The Cycle is currently in Alpha and you can get the game for FREE from the Epic Game Store. Since it was my first time playing The CYCLE, I went through the Tutorial to learn the basics of playing the game. I also changed the Graphics Settings from the default High to Medium to Low to help with performance.
While I was playing, I had this weird lagging and stuttering sound and I think it's caused by the game's built-in Voice Chat feature. I experienced the same problem in other games like CSGO and fixed it by simply turning off the feature.
So, I tried to disable the Voice Chat feature by muting both the Input and Output devices but, unfortunately, it did not worked. The lagging and stuttering sounds still happened and it was happening in some kind of interval.
Overall, it was a good and enjoyable one hour of playing The Cycle. The lagging and stuttering sounds were annoying but it did not stopped me from having a good time playing and the game worked even on my 10 year old computer.
