UO OUTLANDS (Ultima Online) • Newbie Dungeon Found

In this UO Outlands adventure, I wanted to do some adventuring like fighting monsters but I started with mining for rocks. Well, I was not really mining for rocks in UO Outlands. I was mining for Iron Ores.

Last time, all my attempts to craft a weapon like a spear and a longsword in UO Outlands failed but not today. I tried crafting a longsword and a shield and both were successful.

Now, I have a longsword and shield and it only took me one try crafted them. I'm now ready to go to a dungeon and fight something (I think).

My first attempt in fighting something in UO Outland was not a success because I didn't really know what to do. I equipped my longsword and shield and went to the second level of the mine to try and fight something.

Unfortunately, I couldn't figure out what to do. In the end, I went out of the second level of the mine running away from a couple of big monsters that look like Ogres or Trolls.

After that, I tried to do some exploring but I ended up buying a Hatchet and I decided to do some logging. I walked and run around looking for trees to chop down and I also created a new macro just for logging.

I spent a good amount of time just chopping down trees in UO Outlands but, when it was time to turn them into gold coins, I didn't find an NPC who wants to buy them. LOL!

According to those in chat, boards are sold to other players or avatars and I should sell them at 1000 at a time.

After a while, I found the docks and there was an NPC that sells Fishing Rods. I wanted to buy a fishing rod but I didn't have enough gold coins. So, I went to a forge and crafted some armor and sold it to the NPC to get some gold coins.

The next thing that I discovered was the World Atlas. I didn't know how to use it but I was able to find the New Player Dungeon because of it.

The New Player Dungeon was dark and I found out that I needed a skinning knife to skin the corpses that were scattered all over the place.

Someone I know from Shroud of the Avatar, helped me find the NPC that sells skinning knives. I bought one and went back to the New Player Dungeon.

In the end, I eventually did what I wanted to do in the first place but it took me almost an hour to finally do it.
