UO OUTLANDS (Crafting Failed)

In UO Outlands, I spent almost an hour mining Iron Ores, smelting Iron Ores to Iron Ingots and crafting things to increase my Blacksmithing skills.

At first, I wanted to sell my Iron Ingots to the NPC but the NPC was not interested in buying them. So, I crafted armor pieces using the Iron Ingots and sold what I crafted to the NPC instead.

Later, I decided to craft a weapon and maybe a shield because I wanted to do some adventuring and fight some monsters in UO Outlands.

I tried crafting a Spear but it kept failing. I had to keep on mining for Iron Ores and smelt them into Iron Ingots only to lose them all.

Later, I learned the reason why I kept failing to craft a Spear and, the reason was, my success rate was super extremely low.

Next, I tried crafting a Longsword with a success rate of 40% but I still kept on failing to craft even one Longsword. At 40% success rate, I should have gotten at least one Longsword crafted but NO!

All my attempts were complete and TOTAL FAILURES!

Anyway, I'm still going to try crafting a weapon and maybe a shield the next time I play UO Outlands.
