NVIDIA GeForce GT 730! No Longer Supported?

NVIDIA GT 730 video cards are no longer supported? When I tried to update my GeForce GT 730 Video Card driver from version 391.35 to version 397.93, the update did not work.

I checked the list of the latest driver's Supported Products and my GeForce GT 730 video card was listed on it but, the problem was this, the driver update no longer recognized my GeForce GT 730 video card.

The GeForce GT 730 is a very popular low end budget video card, so, I'm quite sure I'm not the only one having this problem but, it looks like, not all GeForce GT 730 video cards are affected.

It seems that, only those GeForce GT 730 video cards based on the Fermi Architecture are no longer supported by the latest NVIDIA driver. If you're GeForce GT 730 video card is not based on the Fermi Architecture then you won't have any problems updating.

Unfortunately for me, my GeForce GT 730 video card is based on the Fermi Architecture and that means no more NVIDIA driver updates for me and there's nothing I can do about it except maybe buy a new video card.

Now, the funny thing is, GeForce GT 730 Fermi video cards are still being sold in various Online Stores like Amazon and Newegg
