Latency Spiked To 426 ms In APB: Reloaded, Framerate Dropped Down To 8 FPS

I haven't played APB: Reloaded for a while and I kinda miss playing my really cool looking character and, so, yesterday, I decided to play at least one game.

Not surprisingly, my Latency according to APB: Reloaded was over 230 ms. The reason why I have this very high Latency is because I'm playing in the NA Server.

Now, 230 ms, if stable, is not a problem because I'm used to playing games with high Latency. Unfortunately, while I was playing the game, my Latency as reported by APB Reloaded was spiking up and down.

At one point, my Latency spiked over 420 ms and, when that happened, my framerate dropped down to 8 frames per second. Seriously, you don't want that when enemies are shooting at you.

Yes, I do currently have an active WTFast Premium Basic account but I didn't use it because I wanted to see what my Latency was going to be without WTFast in APB Reloaded.

Again, I only use WTFast on games that are giving me a lot of game lag and APB Reloaded is one of them. The next time I play APB Reloaded, I will definitely use WTFast because a Latency of over 420 ms is just crazy.

Well, the good news is, I didn't get any Packet Loss while playing the game and that is also according to APB Reloaded. Now, to display or turn on your Connection Status in the game, simply type /FPS in chat.
