From No Man's Sky To No Mario's Sky To DMCA's Sky

A few days ago, I came upon a free game called No Mario's Sky and it was like No Man's Sky and Super Mario Bros. combined into one game.

The gameplay of No Mario's Sky is very much the same as the original Super Mario Bros. game but with a twist. You see in No Mario's Sky, Mario can travel seamlessly to various worlds by riding a spaceship.

Now, like No Man's Sky, there are many, many worlds to explore in No Mario's Sky and these worlds are somewhat different from each other.

Of course, the basic Super Mario Bros. game mechanic is still at play when Mario is on each world. It only changes when Mario rides his spaceship to leave the planet to go to space to find a new one to explore.

Unfortunately, No Mario's Sky is no more because the creator of No Mario's Sky received a Copyright Complaint from Nintendo and had to remove and stop distributing the game.

Now, even though No Mario's Sky got shutdown by Nintendo, it didn't stop the creator of No Mario's Sky from releasing a re-skinned version of the game called DMCA's Sky.

DMCA's Sky is basically No Mario's Sky without any Super Mario Bros. related characters. Mario was replaced with a Spaceman named Finn, the Goombas were replaced by Moombas, Gold Coins were replaced with Green Gems and other similar replacements.

The good news is, DMCA's Sky plays better than No Mario's Sky because the character in DMCA's Sky moves better than Mario in No Mario's Sky. I guess, the creator also updated it while re-skinning the game.

Anyway, if you were not able to download or play No Mario's Sky then just download and play DMCA's Sky. It's basically the same game but with better controls.
