Another Way Of Bypassing Ragnarok Online 2 SEA Country Block or IP Block
I've already posted a total of three methods of bypassing Ragnarok Online 2 SEA's country block or IP block. These three methods are 1. using Hotspot Shield, 2. using a Free Singapore VPN and 3. using WTFast.
Now, I'm going to show you a fourth method of bypassing the country block or IP block implemented by Asiasoft to Ragnarok Online 2 SEA. Actually, this method also uses VPN or Virtual Private Network but it's from a different service provider.
This time, the service or program I used to access Ragnarok Online 2 SEA is called PrivateTunnel. It works like Hotspot Shield because it redirect's your internet connection through a VPN server. This will give you a different IP address and if it's not blocked by Ragnarok Online 2 SEA then you won't have problems accessing the game.
Here is what I did:
Skeptical about PrivateTunnel? Here is a simple video that shows how I connected to Ragnarok Online 2 SEA using PrivateTunnel. You'll see that it clearly bypassed the country block or IP block of the game.

Here is what I did:
- First, I created a Free Account at https://www.privatetunnel.com.
- After creating a Free Account, I downloaded, installed and run the PrivateTunnel program
- In the program, I logged-in using my Free Account, choose UK - London as my server and connected to PrivateTunnel
- After connecting to PrivateTunnel, I ran Ragnarok Online 2 SEA and access the game

Kindly compare HS, Private tunnel and WTFast when it comes to speed..
ReplyDeletebtw is WTFast still working?
there is also another method using cyber ghost :D same as HS but little less lag
I'm not much into online gaming but both my brothers are. Guess I'll give Ragnarok 2 a try and see if this IP Block tutorial would work. :)Thanks.
ReplyDeleteNice strategy, I have played Ragnarok before and I like to play this one. Definitely I'll do this once I have the time to download. I hope there are a lot of interesting monsters and cards. I also wonder what are new to this new version of Ragnarok.
ReplyDeleteThank you for posting.
I'm still not an online gaming enthusiast but this is informative! I'll share to a cousin-in-law who's addicted to games!
ReplyDeleteGreat tips, I think I have to tell to this to my husband so he will learn from me. Haha, he is a Ragnarok addict.
ReplyDeleteHahaha I super can't relate to this topic as I'm not a gamer. But I'm sure your tips are helpful to Ragnarok gamers out there. :-D
ReplyDeleteDiba ang daming nagkaproblema nito ngayon kasi di na pwede sa Pilipinas to? Ano bang nangyari? Na ban bah tayo?
ReplyDeletelatency comparison pls vs hotspot/wtfast(sg1)! maraming salamat kabalyero!
ReplyDeleteI used to play pRO in its early days. I heard about RO2 from one of my friends and I'm sad that there's an IP restriction which I'm not aware of the cause.
ReplyDeleteThis would be useful if you were to create your character/s and reserve the names you want to use since there's a data transfer limit :)
I played Ragnarok thrice I enjoyed it but my busy schedule prohibits me. But my two sons are online games I will forward this information. This is useful one. Thank you so much.
ReplyDeleteI think this is great for Ragna players. Just curious, why should bypass or IP block Ragnarok SEA 2 ?
ReplyDeleteI'm not really into online gaming, but, is bypassing or blocking country IP same as using game 'cheats'?
ReplyDeleteAha! Another workaround for us Pinoys who are sometimes less than welcome in international online arenas :P
ReplyDeletereason :
Deletedi yan dahil sa magaling ang ph sa mmo (ph have nvr won 1st place in rwc maraming mas magaling sa inyo) dahil yan sa ugaling "local" nyo dinadala nyo sa "international arena"
Not into gaming, because I am not a gamer, but this is an informative article.
ReplyDeletesorry to ask this... why do we need the data transfer anyway? no idea of the importance. first time online gaming.
ReplyDeletePrivateTunnel uses Data Transfer to measure internet usage. Instead of charging by months, they charge by Data used (I think). ^_^
DeleteI tried using this, but when i try to run the launcher it will only load half way and then it disappears. I don't know why that happens, I checked the connection and it's working. My computer is working well, not much loaded in it. Please help?
DeleteI don't think it's the Asiasoft who blocked the IP. I think it's Levelupgames.ph coz of they're still active of the RO classic. Gravity and Levelupgames might have an agreement about this. hahaha i don't know just guessing!
ReplyDeleteNope. It's the licensing agreement between the publisher and the owner.
DeletePosted another alternative using OpenVPN here http://www.justanothercarl.com/2013/02/by-passing-ragnarok-online-2-using.html
