Myth of Empires: Throne Review - Cozy Building Fun (For Now!)
Myth of Empires: Throne Review – Cozy Building Fun Before PvP Chaos
Hey guys,
So here’s the deal, this review is 100% biased, and I’m not even going to pretend otherwise. If a game lets me gather resources, build structures, and just vibe in my own little world, I’m already halfway sold. That’s exactly why Myth of Empires: Throne clicked with me almost immediately.
Right from the start, the game scratches that satisfying loop of collecting materials, crafting stuff, and slowly building up your base. There’s something incredibly relaxing about chopping wood, mining resources, and watching your little empire grow piece by piece. It’s cozy, it’s chill, and honestly, it’s the kind of gameplay I can sink hours into without even noticing the time.
Now, I’m not gonna lie, I’m really enjoying it. The pacing feels just right, especially if you’re someone who prefers a more laid-back experience. At least for now, everything feels calm and manageable. No pressure, no chaos, just pure building and survival fun.
But here’s where things get a bit... concerning.
PvP.
Yeah, I’m not a fan. Not even a little bit. I’ll be real with you, I suck at PvP. I’m older now, my reaction time isn’t what it used to be, my eyesight isn’t great, my wrist starts complaining after a while, and to top it all off, I deal with occasional lag. That’s basically a recipe for disaster in any competitive scenario.
The good news? I haven’t run into any PvP yet.
Right now, the game feels like a peaceful sandbox where I can just do my thing without worrying about getting wrecked by other players. It’s honestly the best-case scenario for someone like me. But let’s be real, that’s probably not going to last forever.
Sooner or later, other players are going to show up, and some of them will definitely be aggressive. That’s just how these games go. The cozy, relaxed vibe I’m enjoying right now might turn into something a lot more intense down the line.
So yeah, I’m enjoying the game, but with a bit of cautious optimism. If you’re like me and love building and gathering, you’ll probably have a great time... at least in the early stages.
