Double XP Fun in Butterfly Forest: Lunar Wing Net + Fishing Combo!
Hey guys, today I jumped into something super fun in Second Life and honestly, it felt like the perfect time to grind and just enjoy the game. I visited Butterfly Forest where not just one, but TWO multiplier events were happening at the same time. Yep, both the x2 Celestial Butterfly event and the x2 Virtual Fishing event were running, and the best part? I didn’t have to choose between them. I just did both!
There was literally no reason not to take advantage of both events. While hunting butterflies, I could also do some fishing on the side, making the whole experience feel efficient and rewarding at the same time. Double the events meant double the fun and double the gains.
Before I even started, I made a quick stop to grab supplies. I found a place selling Virtual Fishing small worms for only 6L$ per 100, which is a pretty nice deal compared to the usual 10L$. Saving some Linden dollars while preparing is always a win.
One of the highlights of this session was trying out the Lunar Wing Net for the very first time. This net is an advanced tool and costs 990L$, so I was really curious if it would be worth it. And honestly, it didn’t disappoint. The Lunar Wing Net gives increased XP gain, about 2XP per hunt, and boosts the hunt limit up to 40. That alone made a noticeable difference during the event.
Using the new net during a x2 event just felt like perfect timing. Everything stacked up nicely, and progress felt faster and smoother compared to before. Pair that with fishing on the side, and it turned into a really productive and fun session.
Overall, this was one of those moments where everything just lined up perfectly in-game. Events, upgrades, and preparation all came together to create a super enjoyable experience.
