My First Ever Twitch Affiliate Payment

My First Ever Twitch Affiliate Payment

In this video, I share a personal milestone in my streaming journey. After years of streaming on Twitch, I received my first Twitch affiliate payment. Despite not having many viewers and followers, becoming an affiliate was still a stroke of luck for me. I received the minimum payment, but I used the money to take care of myself and to buy a game that I've been wanting to play for a while. I also renewed my domain name registration and bought food for the day, which may not sound like much, but it was a big deal for me.

Today, I want to share with you a personal milestone that I recently achieved. After years of streaming on Twitch, I received my first Twitch affiliate payment. It's not a huge amount, but it's a significant milestone for me, and I'm proud of it.

To be honest, I don't exactly remember when I first became a Twitch affiliate. I think it was about two years ago, but I could be wrong. Despite being an affiliate, I don't get many viewers, and my followers are very few. I thought I would never get paid by Twitch, and becoming an affiliate was a stroke of luck.

I don't think my Twitch channel will ever become a partner, but that's okay. Being an affiliate is still a great achievement for me. The payment I received was the minimum amount for affiliates, but I was happy nonetheless.

Twitch sent my affiliate payment to my PayPal account, which was convenient for me. I used part of the money to renew one of my domain names, which which was about to expire soon. I used another part of the money to buy Conan Exiles in Steam, which was on sale at 70% off. It's a game I've been wanting to play for a while, so I was happy to get it.

I also used part of the money to buy maintenance medicines for my hypertension. As a streamer, it can be tough to take care of yourself, especially when you're streaming for long hours. I'm grateful that I can use my affiliate payment to take care of myself.

Finally, I used the rest of the money on food for the entire day. It may not sound like much, but it's a big deal for me. As a struggling streamer, it's not always easy to afford basic necessities. So being able to use my affiliate payment to buy food for the day was a huge relief.

However, I don't know when I'll receive my next affiliate payment since my Twitch channel is not really growing. But I'm not giving up. I'll keep streaming and doing what I love, and who knows, maybe one day, my channel will grow enough to become a Twitch partner.

That's it for now, fellow gamers. If you have any comments, questions or reactions then please post them in the comments section.
