Byte Fyte, I Set My Frame Rate To 60 FPS

Byte Fyte is a low polygon open world survival online and offline game. I got a free steam key of the game from Keymailer and gave it a try. In my first try, my GPU had a big temperature bump of about 30 degrees celsius. I exited the game because it was weird. Why would a low polygon game bump my GPU temperature by 30 degrees?

After observing Byte Fyte, I found out the cause. It was caused by a high FPS or Frames Per Second. Instead of getting 60 frames per second, the game was giving me over 100 frames per second.

Having a high FPS was good but it was also adding extra work to my GPU. Since Byte Fyte had no setting for limiting FPS, I limited the game's FPS to 60 FPS using NVidia's Control Panel by setting Max Frame Rate to 60.

Running Byte Fyte in 60 FPS instead of over 100 FPS kept my GPU running nice and cool while playing the game.

Anyway, if you think 60 FPS is good enough for you to play and enjoy Byte Fyte then try limiting it and see if it will reduce your GPU temperature.
