THE ELDER SCROLL
Recovering the Elder Scroll was very easy. The journey to getting the Elder Scroll was long but the process of actually getting the Elder Scroll was very easy.
The Elder Scroll that sent Alduin forward in time was located deep inside the Alftand Glacial Ruins. It was defended by machines left by the dwarven folks and falmers who made the place their home.
Getting to where the Elder Scroll was located took a very long time but, once there, getting the Elder Scroll was very easy and simple. It was as simple as activating a machine and taking the Elder Scroll from where it was held.
Anyway, watch the gameplay video to find out more.
