Mech Arena Gameplay 2021 - Why Am I Getting An X

WHY AM I GETTING AN X?
So, I played a few matches in Mech Arena Robot Showdown. I'm not good playing competitive games but I do enjoy playing them and Mech Arena Robot Showdown is a 5 vs 5 robot fighting game.
If my memory is correct, I think I won a couple of matches and lost the rest but, even though I was on the winning team and I did very well in the match, I still got an X after the match.
Honestly, I have no freaking idea what the X was for. I only knew I was getting an X while the others were getting a Check Mark. Maybe it's nothing, maybe it's something.
