Elland The Crystal Wars Kickstarter Lauched (Gaming - Crowd Funding)

Back in High School, I played an amazing real time strategy game called Dune 2 The Battle for Arakis and I spent hours playing it on a classmate's computer because I don't own a computer back then.

Anyway, I opened with something related to Dune not because of the new Dune movie but because of what I received in my e-mail.

Recently, I received what looked like a press release for a Dune related or inspired game and it's called Elland: The Crystal Wars.

According what I've read, Elland The Crystal Wars was originally known as Dune Ornithopter Assault which was an unreleased flying shooter for Gameboy Advance based on the Dune franchise.

After many years of waiting, the game is finally getting a physical release. It has dropped the Dune IP and was renamed Elland The Crystal Wars.

By the way, the game also has a Kickstarter campaign. I'm not sure if the Kickstarter campaign has any effect on the release of the game but you are free to check it out and support it if you want to.
