BECOMING A RAIDER
In Fallout 4, there is an awesome mod called Sim Settlements and it has an even awesome add-on called Sim Settlement Conqueror. Install Sim Settlements first then install Conqueror next.
The Conqueror add-on will let you play as a Raider and take over other settlements in Fallout 4 through warfare. Playing as another faction is also possible but will require a separate add-on.
To become a Raider, you will need to complete a series of Raider quests given by a so called rebel Raider named Jammer. These Raider quests are mostly about taking out other Raider leaders.
