I believe, Galaxy in Turmoil now has nothing to do with Star Wars. It's now its own game with its own assets, its own backstory and its own universe not related to some galaxy far, far away.
Recently, I learned that the game, Galaxy in Turmoil, now has a playable DEMO and you can download this playable demo for free in STEAM.
Also, downloading the playable demo of Galaxy in Turmoil in STEAM is just the first step in playing the game because you will also need to create a free Frontwire Studios account.
For the playable demo of Galaxy in Turmoil, the Minimum System Requirements listed in STEAM are the following:
• Windows 7 64-bit or Mac OS X 10.9.2 or later
• Quad-core Intel or AMD processor, 2.5 GHz or faster
• 8 GB RAM
• NVIDIA GeForce 470 GTX or AMD Radeon 6870 HD series card or higher
• DirectX 11
• Broadband Internet connection
• and 30 GB of available hard drive space
Based on that information, I believe my current 10 year old PC is good enough to run Galaxy in Turmoil. Although, I'm not sure how it will perform but, at least, I know it will run.
Anyway, downloading and installing Galaxy in Turmoil took a little over 3 hours and all I have to do now is start it up and give it a spin but I'm going to do that later today.
