AEW Dynamite BEATS WWE NXT for the Fourth Time • All Elite Wrestling News

The Wednesday War continues and for the fourth week of the war, AEW Dynamite continues to beat NXT but is AEW really winning this war or is it really losing?

Hey guys, check out my shirt designs at https://teespring.com/stores/kabalyero and I hope you find something you like. Thank you.

Just a little disclosure, I grew up watching WWF in the 80s, 90s and early 2000s when it was still good but, for some reason, they started putting up crap shows over and over and over again.

I don't remember what date it was but I eventually hated WWE and stopped watching anything they put out. I still follow what's happening from time to time because it's really funny to watch WWE fans losing the minds, ranting and raging in YouTube.

Anyway, back to the ratings. According to Forbes and I quote...

AEW garnered 963,000 viewers—down 5% from last week’s number of 1.014 million. AEW was No. 4 for the night in the Cable Top 150 in the 18-49 demographic. WWE NXT came in at No. 21 for the night among the 18-49 demographic as its streak of viewership declines continued with just 698,000 viewers compared to 712,000 from last week.

Both AEW Dynamite and WWE NXT faced stiff competition from Game 2 of the MLB World Series as the Washington Nationals took a shocking 2-0 lead on the road against the Houston Astros to the tune of 11.8 million average viewers. Interestingly enough, Major League Baseball shares similarities with pro wrestling’s audience in both age and erosion.

Based on the numbers alone, AEW Dynamite won the Wednesday Night War again but, even though it won over NXT for the fourth time, we just can't ignore the fact that it's losing viewers week after week after week.

NXT is losing viewers week after week too but I don't really care about NXT or anything with the WWE brand. I know it's a far better show than RAW and Smackdown but it's still a WWE show.

AEW Dynamite has put on amazing shows this past four weeks and, it's safe to say, they'll continue to put on amazing shows in future weeks specially next week with the FInals of the Tag Team Tournament featuring Lucha Bros and SCU.

So guys, is AEW really losing even though it's winning the Wednesday Night War against NXT? Post your answers as well as your comments, questions or reactions in the comments section below.
