Gold GOTO Drop Rate, When Will It Increase?

Gold GOTO Drop Rate, When Will It Increase?

A not so long time ago, in a forum thread that has now disappeared. Chris Spears said, "we expect the drop rate to increase as we approach the end of the year and COTO prices approach 2k".

Well, that post was said in 2017. It's already 2018 and, currently, the price of COTO in-game has reached, not just 2000, not just 3000 but 4000 game gold.

4000 game gold is way over the 2000 game gold price per COTO mentioned in the post by Chris Spears and, yet, the drop rate of COTO in-game has stayed the same, if not lower.

To my understanding, the purpose of increasing the drop rate of COTOs when its price reaches 2000 game gold is to balance it out to keep the price from inflating further.

Sadly, that is not happening. Because the drop rate of COTOs has not increased, the price of COTO in-game just keeps on increasing.

Before, players can use COTO to pay for their lot taxes because doing so can save them a few game gold but that has changed. Now, it's better to pay lot taxes with game gold.

So guys, my question to you is, will Chris Spears or Portalarium keep their promise of increasing the drop rate of COTO or is this another of those broken and forgotten promises?
