Second Life is a 3D virtual world developed by Linden Lab where you can be anyone or anything you want and even create anything you can imagine because it's a true sandbox.
Now, to answer the question, is it possible to make money in Second Life? The simple answer to that question is a big fat YES. Making money in Second Life is not just possible it's 100% doable.
Seriously, there are a lot of people who are making a lot of money in Second Life by simply doing things they love and enjoy and there are a lot of those things in Second Life.
As for me, I don't make a lot of money in Second Life but I do make a few dollars each month by almost doing nothing. For example, last year a cashed out a total of 276 US Dollars in Second Life.
Again, it's not a lot of money but I've not been active in Second Life for a few years now and still I was able to cash out that much money without spending a single dollar back in Second Life.
If an inactive Second Life resident can make a couple of hundred dollars then just imagine how much those who are active in Second Life are earning each year. It could be thousands or it could be millions of dollars.
